I had a little clunck in stearing wheel, but also alot of slack in the stearin wheel when driving. My upper intermediate stearing shaft was worn out.The shaft has a small u-joint in it. it is located close to the exhaust therefore the heat dries the grease out of the joint. You can change it and it will happen again later on
Clunking/knocking noise heard and felt in the steering column/dash area. Mostly at low speeds but can show up at random times.
Have had a clunking noise coming from steering column since day one. Dealers said it was normal and not to worry. Really?
