Should parking brake be checked when relpacing rear brakes?

What is your question?

Dealer replaced rear brakes,rotors,sensors and flushed system now left rear rotor is burned. Dealer claims the parking brake didnt release and needs parking brake modular and this is not related to the work done two weeks ago. The estimate is $2100.00

get another opinion. if just 1 rotor burnt, then just 1 caliper is locking up for some reason. are the calipers new also? i would get second hands on opinion.

THERE ARE MANY PROBLEMS WITH THIS TYPE OF PARK BRAKE. ASK DEALER IF THERE IS A FACTORY RECALL OR SERVICE BULLETIN REGARDING THIS. YOU MAY GET TO SAVE SOME $ IF THERE IS. WE HAVE REPLACED ONE OF THEESE HERE DO TO THE SAME ISSUE.
