Replacement involves removal of the timing belt cover and tensioner, the timing belt itself, and, finally the timing belt pulley. Installation requires that the proper amount of tension is applied to the timing belt and its related components. Once all the timing parts are back in place, the engine will be tested to make sure it's working right.
