Tensioner pulley fell apart, releasing all bearing balls. Purchased a new pulley (JUST THE PULLEY NOT THE WHOLE ASSEMBLY) from Pep Boyz for $20.
The pulley would make a squeaking noise due to a bad bearing. I got one from Autozone for around 25 dollars.
The GM technician replaced my drive belt. Two days later the new belt failed. The tensioner pulley had worn out causing the belt to wear during acceleration. The new tensioner with labor cost nearly $600.00!
