reset the engine service indicator light

What is your question?

my engine service indicator light came on,not flashing.i took it to 2 auto parts places in town for a free electronic diagnostic check they both agreed it was a dirty air filter,i replaced the engine filter but not the cabin filter but the light is still on.it's a 2013 smart for two pure coupe by the way.

What makes this problem better or worse?

its not a problem yet
