initially smelled gas outside driver side at hood later began hesitating at speeds of 40-55 miles per hr-like wanted to pull backwards. later began stalling at lights or after stopping and then restarting. could drive 2 or more wks with no problem-then would start back again and got worse-began stalling sporadically on interstate at 65-70 miles per hr. then began not restarting for days. then later would start. changed air flow sensor-crankshaft sensor-tuned up-tried new computer-no fix-new coil pack-no fix-new ignition parts-no fix-egr-no fix.
replaced the fuel pump fuel filter and still have the same problem when the car gets hot is shuts off and cranks but wont start and if u use the window button the drivers side front directional stays lite
Engine won't catch. Battery died as a result. My daughter has car at school, so we had battery replace last year. One year later same issue. Replacing fuel filter to see if this solves the problem.
Summer time everything is fine, winter comes and it turns over but does not start. It has been sitting for over a month, I try to start it everyday with the same results, it does not start
I just replaced fuelpump with a new one a few day ago.I tested car it stalled twice on it won't turn over but acts like its not getting gas.we checked filter and plugs.
My car was running fine until one morning it wouldn't crank. It sounded like it wanted to crank but wouldn't turn over. I found that it was the fuel pump. it cost around $550 to replace.
