Drive Train
A broken driveshaft can impair steering. Vehicles with full-time 4WD may experience a vehicle rollaway while parked without the parking brake applied. Both scenarios increase the risk of a crash.
The constant velocity joint at the front drive shaft may deform and break. This can impair steering, motive power, and can also allow the vehicle to rollaway the parked if the parking brake is not secure.. All increase the risk of injury.
You must contact and visit a Toyota dealership to perform recall repairs on your Toyota vehicle. The schedule for Toyota to contact known owners of affected vehicles is during November, 2025. If you do not receive a notification, but wish to check to see if your vehicle is included, please contact one of your local Toyota dealerships. They will also check for any other incomplete recalls on your vehicle. For best results, be prepared to provide your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) to the service department consultant you speak with. The Toyota recall designations are 25TB11 and 25TA11.
