The recall on your vehicle may be able to be resolved remotely via an "over the air" software update. Kia will reach out to owners to explain how to handle performing this update. Alternatively, you may choose to have your local dealership update the software for you. In this case, you must contact and visit a Kia dealership to perform recall repairs on your Kia vehicle. The schedule for Kia to initially contact known owners of affected vehicles was during June, 2025. If you do not receive a notification, but wish to check to see if your vehicle is included, please contact one of your local Kia dealerships. They will also check for any other incomplete recalls on your vehicle. For best results, be prepared to provide your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) to the service department consultant you speak with. The Kia recall designation is SC341.
