Driving with improperly inflated tires increases the risk of a crash.
The tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) warning light may not come on when tire pressure is too low, which can result in tire failure and loss of vehicle control. This can lead to a crash.
This recall can be resolved via an "Over The Air" (OTA) software update, provided by Tesla, without the need for visiting a service facility. Tesla will notify known owners of affected vehicles in February, 2025. This notice will explain the software update, and provide direction. If you did not receive a notification and would like more information, or would like to see if your vehicle is affected by this recall, you can contact Tesla customer service at 1-877-798-3752. Be sure to have your vehicle identification number (VIN) available for the agent to review. Tesla will also check for any other open recalls you may have missed.
