A child that is not properly restrained during a crash can have an increased risk of injury.
A child seat may not be able to be restrained properly due to insufficient child seat tether welds on the second-row seat back frame. This increases the risk of injury to an improperly restrained child in an accident.
You must contact and visit a Jeep dealership to perform recall repairs on your Jeep vehicle. The schedule for Chrysler (FCA US) to contact known owners of affected vehicles is during September, 2024. If you do not receive a notification, but wish to check to see if your vehicle is included, please contact one of your local Jeep dealerships. They will also check for any other incomplete recalls on your vehicle. For best results, be prepared to provide your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) to the service department consultant you speak with. The Jeep recall designation is 85B.
