The front power seat motor may overheat which can cause a fire while parked or while driving. This is due to a stuck power seat slide knob. Owners are advised to park away from structures outside until the repair for this concern is completed.

You must contact and visit a Kia dealership to perform recall repairs on your Kia vehicle. The schedule for Kia to initially contact known owners of affected vehicles was during July, 2024. If you do not receive a notification, but wish to check to see if your vehicle is included, please contact one of your local Kia dealerships. They will also check for any other incomplete recalls on your vehicle.
