Electrical & Lights
A seat belt warning system that fails to alert occupants of an unbelted seat belt can increase the risk of injury during a crash.
The seatbelt warning light and audible chime may not activate when the driver and passenger of the vehicle do not have the seatbelt fastened as needed. This can prevent drivers from being alerted that their seatbelts are not fastened which increases risk of injury in an accident.
