A rear door of the vehicle may open unexpectedly while driving due to the rear left and right door opener switches allowing water to get inside them and cause a short circuit. This could allow an occupant to become ejected from the vehicle, increasing risk of occupant injury.

You must contact and visit a Toyota dealership to perform recall repairs on your Toyota vehicle. The schedule for Toyota to contact known owners of affected vehicles is during June, 2024.
