Suspension & Steering
A loss of vehicle control increases the risk of a crash.
Front suspension components of the vehicle on each side called the upper control arm ball joint fasten to the steering knuckles on each side, supporting the proper alignment and stability of the front wheels and suspension. Some of these joint to knuckle fasteners may fail, causing the components to separate, the affected wheel to fall outward, and lead to loss of vehicle control. This can lead to an accident.
You must contact and visit a Jeep dealership to perform recall repairs on your Jeep vehicle. The schedule for Chysler (FCA US) to contact known owners of affected vehicles is during April, 2024. If you do not receive a notification, but wish to check to see if your vehicle is included, please contact one of your local Jeep dealerships. They will also check for any other incomplete recalls on your vehicle. For best results, be prepared to provide your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) to the service department consultant you speak with. The Jeep recall designation is 10B.
