Fuel may flow into the evaporative emissions system and leak out of the charcoal canister due to a problem with the suction jet pump seal inside the fuel tank. This would create a risk of fire.

You must contact and visit a Volkswagen or Audi dealership to perform recall repairs on your Volkswagen or Audi vehicle, respectively. The schedule for Volkswagen to initially contact known owners of affected vehicles was during April, 2024. If you do not receive a notification, but wish to check to see if your vehicle is included, please contact one of your local Volkswagen or Audi dealerships. They will also check for any other incomplete recalls on your vehicle.
