Drive Train
Separation of the front end of the driveshaft increases the risk of a crash.
The driveshaft may loosen and disconnect at the front end. The driveshaft, if spinning, could damage undercarriage parts and contact the ground while the vehicle is in motion and as a result could cause an accident.
You must contact and visit a Subaru dealership to perform recall repairs on your Subaru vehicle. The schedule for Subaru to contact known owners of affected vehicles is during October, 2022. If you do not receive a notification, but wish to check to see if your vehicle is included, please contact one of your local Subaru dealerships. They will also check for any other incomplete recalls on your vehicle. For best results, be prepared to provide your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) to the service department consultant you speak with. The Subaru recall designation is WRN-23.
