Suspension & Steering
Loss of power steering assist can increase the steering effort required, especially at low speeds, and increase the risk of a crash.
The power steering assist may fail due to a electrical connection concern within the electronic power steering torque sensor. A loss of power steering assist would create the need for more steering effort, which can result in a crash.
You must visit a Nissan dealership to perform recall repairs on your Nissan vehicle. The schedule for Nissan to contact known owners of affected vehicles is during September, 2023. If you do not receive a notification, but wish to check to see if your vehicle is included, please contact one of your local Nissan dealerships. They will also check for any other incomplete recalls on your vehicle. For best results, be prepared to provide your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) to the service department consultant you speak with.
