This recall can be resolved via an "Over The Air" (OTA) software update, provided by Tesla, without the need for visiting a service facility. Tesla will notify known owners of affected vehicles in December, 2022. This notice will explain the software update, and provide direction. If you did not receive a notification and would like more information, or would like to see if your vehicle is affected by this recall, you can contact Tesla customer service at 1-877-798-3752. Be sure to have your vehicle identification number (VIN) available for the agent to review. Tesla will also check for any other open recalls you may have missed.
