Missing audio safety features, such as seat belt reminders, turn signal sounds, and Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) warnings, can increase the risk of a crash or injury.
For affected vehicles, an audio amplifier module (AAM) was mistakenly not installed during vehicle assembly. This component operates many functions, among them safety features such as seat belt reminder chimes, turn signal sounds and advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) warnings. Without these audible notifications occurring, the driver may not be aware of certain situations, increasing risk of a crash or injury.
You must visit a Land Rover dealership to perform recall repairs on your Land Rover vehicle. The schedule for Land Rover to contact known owners of affected vehicles is in September, 2022. If you do not receive a notification, but wish to check to see if your vehicle is included, please contact one of your local Land Rover dealerships. They will also check for any other incomplete recalls on your vehicle. For best results, be prepared to provide your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) to the service department consultant you speak with. The Land Rover recall designation is N725.
