The front driver's and passenger seat belt pretensioner which are safety devices to secure an occupant in a crash may explode upon deployment in a crash. This would allow metal fragments to project into the vehicle and strike occupants, increasing risk of injury.

Recall repairs on your Hyundai must be performed by a Hyundai dealership. Hyundai will notify known owners of affected vehicles beginning in July, 2022. If you do not receive a notification, but wish to check to see if your vehicle is included, please contact one of your local Hyundai dealerships. They will also check for any other incomplete recalls on your vehicle.
