A "rolling stop" feature of the Full Self-Driving (Beta) software allows vehicles to go through a four way stop intersection without coming to a complete stop. This violates traffic laws and can cause an accident.

This recall can be resolved via an "Over The Air" (OTA) software update, provided by Tesla, without the need for visiting a service facility. Tesla will notify known owners of affected vehicles in March, 2022. This notice will explain the software update, and provide direction. If you did not receive a notification and would like more information, or would like to see if your vehicle is affected by this recall, you can contact Tesla customer service at 1-877-798-3752. Be sure to have your vehicle identification number (VIN) available for the agent to review. Tesla will also check for any other open recalls you may have missed.
