The information about proper wheel lug nut torque specifications as listed in the service and owner's manuals may cause the flanged lug nuts to be over-tightened. This can result in broken wheel studs and possible wheel separation from the vehicle, which can lead to a crash.

Recall repairs on your Ram truck must be performed by a Ram dealership. Chrysler will notify known owners of affected vehicles beginning in July, 2021. If you do not receive a notification, but wish to check to see if your vehicle is included, please contact one of your local Ram dealerships. They will also check for any other incomplete recalls on your vehicle. For best results, be prepared to provide your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) to the service department consultant you speak with. The Chrysler recall designations are Y26 and Y36.
