This incorrect part would decrease the roof's structural integrity or impact the deployment of side curtain air bags in an accident, increasing risk of occupant injury.

Recall repairs on your Volkswagen must be performed by a Volkswagen dealership. Volkswagen will notify known owners of affected vehicles beginning in November, 2021. If you do not receive a notification, but wish to check to see if your vehicle is included, please contact one of your local Volkswagen dealerships.
