The secondary hood latch retainer bracket welds may not be sufficient and can allow the latch to detach and the hood to open while driving. This can obstruct the driver's view and lead to a crash.

Recall repairs on your Nissan must be performed by a Nissan dealership. Nissan will notify known owners of affected vehicles beginning in October, 2021. If you do not receive a notification, but wish to check to see if your vehicle is included, please contact one of your local Nissan dealerships. They will also check for any other incomplete recalls on your vehicle.
