Under conditions where the engine control module (ECM) detects rapid acceleration of the vehicle, the ECM may inappropriately reduce fuel supply to the engine. This reduces engine power and can lead to an engine stall, increasing the risk of a crash.

Recall repairs on your Infiniti must be performed by a Infiniti dealership. Nissan will notify known owners of affected vehicles beginning in May, 2021. If you do not receive a notification, but wish to check to see if your vehicle is included, please contact one of your local Infiniti dealerships. They will also check for any other incomplete recalls on your vehicle. For best results, be prepared to provide your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) to the service department consultant you speak with. The Infiniti recall number is R20C5.

Recalls are unrelated to your warranty coverage. Any recalls that are issued for safety-related items on your vehicle will be repaired by the vehicle manufacturer at no cost to you.
