Suspension & Steering
Over cured tires may develop a break in the sidewall, resulting in sudden air loss or belt edge separation which could lead to tread/belt loss. Either condition can cause a loss of vehicle control, increasing the risk of a crash.
For vehicles equipped from the factory with Continental tires, it is possible that one or more tires were cured for too long during tire production, which can lead to sudden air loss or belt edge separation, causing tire failure and possibly leading to a crash.
Recall repairs on your Nissan must be performed by a Nissan dealership. Nissan will notify known owners of affected vehicles beginning in April, 2021. If you do not receive a notification, but wish to check to see if your vehicle is included, please contact one of your local Nissan dealerships. They will also check for any other incomplete recalls on your vehicle. For best results, be prepared to provide your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) to the service department consultant you speak with. The Nissan recall number is PC798.
