The Occupant Classification And Detection System unit may not detect a child restraint device in the passenger front seat of the vehicle. This increases the risk that the passenger frontal air bag may deploy with a child present in the seat, increasing the risk of injury.

Recall repairs on your Kia must be performed by a Kia dealership. Kia will notify known owners of affected vehicles beginning in March, 2021. If you do not receive a notification, but wish to check to see if your vehicle is included, please contact one of your local Kia dealerships. They will also check for any other incomplete recalls on your vehicle.
