Suspension & Steering
A rear toe link fracture may reduce the driver's ability to control the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
For vehicles sold or registered in cold weather states, the toe links of the rear suspension may not have the proper amount of electrocoating corrosion protection, which could allow the existing coating to chip and break away easily. This would expose the toe links and make them more susceptible to corrosion. This could lead to the toe links fracturing, causing loss of vehicle control and a crash.
Recall repairs on your Chevrolet or Buick vehicle must be performed by a General Motors dealership. General Motors will notify known owners of affected vehicles beginning in February, 2022. If you do not receive a notification, but wish to check to see if your vehicle is included, please contact one of your local General Motors dealerships. They will also check for any other incomplete recalls on your vehicle. For best results, be prepared to provide your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) to the service department consultant you speak with. The General Motors recall number is N212346640.
