Drivers may unknowingly operate the vehicle with low tire pressure, possibly causing tire tread separation, thereby increasing the risk of a crash.
The Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) may not have the correct recommended pressures set in the instrument cluster. The cluster may fail to notify drivers of low tire pressures at the correct time. This increases the risk that tires may be too low to drive on, resulting in a crash.
You must visit a Land Rover dealership to perform recall repairs on your Land Rover vehicle. The schedule for Land Rover to contact known owners of affected vehicles is during November, 2020. If you do not receive a notification, but wish to check to see if your vehicle is included, please contact one of your local Land Rover dealerships. They will also check for any other incomplete recalls on your vehicle. For best results, be prepared to provide your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) to the service department consultant you speak with. The Land Rover recall designation is N494.
