Electrical & Lights
If the trailer lights are not working, following traffic won't be aware the vehicle is slowing down or stopping, increasing the risk of a crash.
When towing a trailer with the trailer's lights connected to the trailer socket of the vehicle, the lights may not function while the daytime running lights (DRL) are active. This would prevent other vehicles from being notified that the vehicle and trailer is slowing down or stopping and can lead to a crash.
Recall repairs on your Land Rover vehicle must be performed by a Land Rover dealership. Land Rover will notify known owners of affected vehicles beginning in May, 2020. If you do not receive a notification, but wish to check to see if your vehicle is included, please contact one of your local Land Rover dealerships. They will also check for any other incomplete recalls on your vehicle. For best results, be prepared to provide your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) to the service department consultant you speak with. The Land Rover recall designation is N428.
