The walls of the fuel tank may not be sufficiently thick resulting in a small hole developing in the tank seam area. A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source presents a fire hazard.

Recall repairs on your Nissan must be performed by a Nissan dealership. Nissan will notify known owners of affected vehicles beginning in March, 2020. If you do not receive a notification, but wish to check to see if your vehicle is included, please contact one of your local Nissan dealerships. Recalls are unrelated to your warranty coverage. Any recalls that are issued for safety-related items on your vehicle will be repaired by the vehicle manufacturer at no cost to you.
