Without a warning indicator, the driver will be unaware if low tire pressure occurs, increasing the risk of a crash.
The low tire pressure warning indicator may not indicate when the air pressure in a tire is low because incorrect tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) sensors may have been installed during vehicle production. If the low tire warning does not come on needed when a tire is low in air pressure, the driver will be unaware of low tire pressure and an accident may occur as a result.
Recall repairs on your Ram truck must be performed by a Ram dealership. Chrysler notified known owners of affected vehicles beginning in January, 2020. If you did not receive a notification, but wish to check to see if your vehicle is included, please contact one of your local Ram dealerships. They will also check for any other incomplete recalls on your vehicle. For best results, be prepared to provide your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) to the service department consultant you speak with. The Chrysler recall number is VE1.
