The 7 speed DSG automatic transmission equipped with the vehicle may develop hairline cracks inside the mechatronic electronic gearbox unit. This can cause internal fluid leakage resulting in a lack of clutch engagement and driving power. A loss of power while driving increases risk of a crash.
