Recall 19V256000

Taillights Malfunction

Recall Details

Moisture may enter the taillights and cause them to stop operating. Dealers will either modify the tailgate lid lights and install updated gaskets and a wiring sub-harness, or replace both tailgate lid lights free of charge to resolve the concern.

Our Quick Take

The taillights of the vehicle both on the body and the tailgate lid may fail to operate. This can happen due to moisture entering the tailgate lights. Loss of taillight function creates lack of vehicle visibility, which can result in an accident.
