On certain vehicles, this label may become illegible, resulting in the risk of the vehicle being unknowingly overloaded. This can lead to an accident.

Recall repairs on your Toyota must be performed by a Toyota dealership. Golden States Toyota (GST) will notify known owners of affected vehicles beginning in May, 2019. If you do not receive a notification, but wish to check to see if your vehicle is included, please contact one of your local Toyota dealerships. They will also check for any other incomplete recalls on your vehicle. For best results, be prepared to provide your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) to the service department consultant you speak with. The GST recall number is 19R1.

How long it takes to fix a recall depends on many different factors:

How many vehicles are affected by the recall? How complex is the problem to fix? How many different parts are involved in the repair? Are the repair parts available? How many recalled cars can the dealer repair each day (while also doing their daily service business)?

Recalls are unrelated to your warranty coverage. Any recalls that are issued for safety-related items on your vehicle will be repaired by the vehicle manufacturer at no cost to you.
