Oil Pan Leaks Causing Risk Of Fire And Engine Stall

Recall Details

The engine oil pan may develop a leak, and as a result may cause a fire and an engine stall. Hyundai is developing a repair procedure at the time of this writing and when it is available, dealers will repair vehicles free of charge to resolve the concern.

Our Quick Take

The engine oil pan may leak, and after a period of time if it is not addressed, the engine may lose enough oil to stall. The leak would create a fire hazard and increases risk of a crash.
