The engine oil pan may develop a leak, and as a result may cause a fire and an engine stall. Hyundai is developing a repair procedure at the time of this writing and when it is available, dealers will repair vehicles free of charge to resolve the concern.

Recall repairs on your Hyundai must be performed by a Hyundai dealership. Hyundai will notify known owners of affected vehicles beginning in March, 2019. If you do not receive a notification, but wish to check to see if your vehicle is included, please contact one of your local Hyundai dealerships. They will also check for any other incomplete recalls on your vehicle. For best results, be prepared to provide your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) to the service department consultant you speak with. The Hyundai recall number is 181.
