Passenger Frontal Air Bag May Not Deploy Properly In A Crash

Recall Details

A mounting screw for the passenger frontal air bag module may not be tightened properly, resulting in the passenger frontal air bag not deploying properly in an accident. Dealers will inspect the mounting screw and tighten it or replace it as needed free of charge to resolve the concern.

Our Quick Take

The passenger frontal air bag may not properly deploy in a crash due to the mounting screw for the air bag module not being sufficiently tightened. This increases risk of occupant injury in a crash.
