Suspension & Steering
The unintended steering input reduces vehicle maneuverability and increases the risk of a crash.
The magnet that controls the torque sensor output signal for the electronic power steering system may become dislodged, causing steering assist to be provided in the opposite direction than that which is needed. Dealers will replace the steering gearbox assembly free of charge to resolve the concern.
Recall repairs on your Honda must be performed by a Honda dealership. Honda will notify known owners of affected vehicles beginning in November, 2018. If you do not receive a notification, but wish to check to see if your vehicle is included, please contact one of your local Honda dealerships. They will also check for any other incomplete recalls on your vehicle. For best results, be prepared to provide your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) to the service department consultant you speak with. The Honda recall number is C2N and P2O.
