Brake lights that do not work increase the risk of a crash.
The brake lights of the vehicle may stop operating while driving. This can occur when the brake light system fuse blows due to the loosening of the circuitry inside the high mounted center brake light assembly. If the brake lights are not functioning, other drivers may not be able to see the vehicle slowing or stopping and may cause a crash.
Recall repairs on your Acura must be performed by an Acura dealership. Acura will notify known owners of affected vehicles beginning in November, 2018. If you do not receive a notification, but wish to check to see if your vehicle is included, please contact one of your local Acura dealerships. They will also check for any other incomplete recalls on your vehicle. For best results, be prepared to provide your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) to the service department consultant you speak with. The Acura recall number is B2B.
