Fuel Delivery Pipe Develops Fuel Leak

Recall Details

The fuel delivery pipe's fuel pulsation damper diaphragms may harden over time, crack and leak fuel. Dealers will replace the fuel delivery pipe with a new pipe that has improved pulsation dampers free of charge to resolve the concern.

Our Quick Take

The fuel delivery pipe is made with dampers to insulate from pulsation. Portions of the dampers may harden over time and become brittle, developing cracks that can leak fuel. This creates a fire hazard.
