Power Sliding Door Does Not Automatically Reverse Operation When Obstructed

Recall Details

The power sliding doors of the vehicle may not automatically reverse when obstructed by a person or object. Dealers will reprogram the power sliding door module software free of charge to resolve the concern.

Our Quick Take

The power sliding doors of the vehicle are designed to stop closing and start reopening in the event the doors hit an obstacle while closing. This is to prevent injury to people who may be entering, exiting or otherwise getting in the way o the door while it is closing. If the door continues closing, injury may occur.
