The fuel gauge may show that the fuel tank is near empty and illuminate the low fuel warning light when the tank is actually not that low, and the engine management software may shut off the engine after an additional 17 miles driving as a result. Dealers will install a software update to correct the fuel level reading free of charge to resolve the concern.

Recalls are unrelated to your warranty coverage. Any recalls that are issued for safety-related items on your vehicle will be repaired by the vehicle manufacturer at no cost to you.
