An unlocked second row left outboard seatback increases the risk of injury to the seat occupant during a crash.
The second row seat back lever that controls seat back reclining and access to the third row seats may remain in an unlocked position, or could unexpectedly unlock. This can allow the seat back to move unexpectedly, even with occupants in the seat. Dealers will confirm proper lever and seat back operation, install a support bracket to the seat recliner on each seat, and if needed upon inspection of proper locking operation replace the seat back frame assembly free of charge to resolve the concern.
Recall repairs on your Honda must be performed by a Honda dealership. Honda will notify known owners of affected vehicles beginning in April, 2018. If you do not receive a notification, but wish to check to see if your vehicle is included, please contact one of your local Honda dealerships. They will also check for any other incomplete recalls on your vehicle.
