The ring plate that secures the air bag cushion to the passenger frontal air bag assembly may fail, resulting in improper or ineffective deployment of the passenger frontal air bag in an accident. Dealers will replace the passenger frontal air bag module free of charge to resolve the concern.

Recall repairs on your Nissan must be performed by a Nissan dealership. Nissan will notify known owners of affected vehicles (a timetable of this notification is unavailable as of the time of this writing). How many recalled cars can the dealer repair each day (while also doing their daily service business)?

Recalls are unrelated to your warranty coverage. Any recalls that are issued for safety-related items on your vehicle will be repaired by the vehicle manufacturer at no cost to you.
