The front seat belt pretensioners may not properly secure occupants in an accident. Dealers will inspect the front seat belt assemblies and replace them as necessary free of charge to resolve the concern.

Recall repairs on your Land Rover vehicle must be performed by a Land Rover dealership. Land Rover will notify known owners of affected vehicles beginning in February, 2017. Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC (Land Rover) is recalling certain model year 2017 Land Rover Discovery Sport vehicles and 2016-2017 Land Rover Range Rover and Range Rover Sport vehicles. The affected vehicles have seatbelt pretensioners that may not function properly in the event of a crash.
If the front seat seatbelt pretensioners do not function properly, the seat occupants may not be adequately restrained in the event of a crash, increasing the risk of injury.
Land Rover will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the front seat belt assemblies, replacing them as necessary, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin February 20, 2017. Owners may contact Land Rover customer service at 1-800-637-6837. Land Rover's number for this recall is P095.
