The electric parking brake (EPB) may not engage as commanded if it is applied immediately after turning the ignition off. Dealers will update the vehicle's software to allow the EPB to engage immediately after the ignition is turned off free of charge to resolve the concern.
Recall repairs on your Honda must be performed by a Honda dealership. Honda will notify known owners of affected vehicles beginning in November, 2016. If you do not receive a notification, but wish to check to see if your vehicle is included, please contact one of your local Honda dealerships. They will also check for any other incomplete recalls on your vehicle. For best results, be prepared to provide your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) to the service department consultant you speak with.
