Electrical & Lights
Without a warning to remind the front seat occupants that their seat belts are not buckled, they may forget to buckle their seat belt, increasing their risk of injury in the event of a crash.
The warning chime that alerts occupants that their seat belts are not buckled may not sound due to wiring in the buckles being damaged by the seat's height adjuster mechanism. Dealers will inspect and reroute the wires in the front seat belt buckle harnesses to their proper location free of charge to resolve the concern.
Recalls on your Hyundai must be performed by a Hyundai dealership. Hyundai will begin notifying known owners of affected vehicles beginning in May, 2016. If you do not receive a notification, but wish to check to see if your vehicle is included, please contact one of your local Hyundai dealerships. They will also check for any other incomplete recalls on your vehicle. For best results, be prepared to provide your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) to the service department consultant you speak with.
