If the seat frame is not welded in the correct places, the seat may not perform as intended, and in the event of a crash, the seat occupant could be at an increased risk of injury.
Defective welds in the left lower seat frame of the vehicle's third row can result in a lack of structural integrity of the seat. This can result in occupant injury in a crash. Dealers will inspect and replace as necessary the left lower third row seat frame free of charge to resolve the concern.
