Engine
An engine that stalls without warning increases the risk of a crash.
For vehicles equipped with the 6.7 liter Cummins Diesel engine, a short circuit that develops within the engine control module (ECM) may cause the engine to stall unexpectedly. This increases the risk of loss of vehicle control and an accident.
Recall repairs on your Ram truck must be performed by a Ram dealership. Chrysler notified known owners of affected vehicles beginning in November, 2015. If you did not receive a notification, but wish to check to see if your vehicle is included, please contact one of your local Ram dealerships. They will also check for any other uncompleted recalls on your vehicle. For best results, be prepared to provide your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) to the service department consultant you speak with. The Chrysler recall number is R52.
