Transmission Leaks Oil

Recall Details

The transmission propeller shaft yoke has a seal cap that may be deformed, causing a transmission oil leak. Dealers will replace the propeller shaft free of charge to resolve the concern.

Our Quick Take

The transmission may leak oil externally from a defective part called the propeller shaft yoke seal cap. This can cause a fire hazard if the fluid leaks on hot parts such as exhaust.
